Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is a whole-person approach to healing. It focuses on restoring balance and function while honoring the body’s natural ability to heal. Through purposeful movement, hands-on techniques, and mindful awareness, physical therapy supports the connection between body and mind. Rather than treating symptoms alone, it addresses the root causes of pain and limitation, helping individuals of all ages move with greater ease, confidence, and resilience. Physical therapy empowers people to better understand their bodies, build strength and mobility, and return to the activities that bring them joy.

I am here to support your healing and movement goals

I have been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 17 years, treating individuals ranging from infancy to age 105. I currently provide care at Village Wellness in Marion, NC. If you are interested in working with me in Physical Therapy, one of our licensed Physical Therapists will perform your initial evaluation and then I will see you for your follow up treatment sessions. Village Wellness has a strong focus on pediatrics where I particularly enjoy working with children and supporting their growth and developmental progress. If you or your child are in need of Physical Therapy services, please reach out.  I look forward to serving you!

Hippotherapy services available in Marion, NC at Magical Moments Therapeutic Riding Center.

I along with other experienced therapists of Village Wellness work with children in hippotherapy. Hippotherapy is a horse-based therapeutic approach that uses the natural rhythm of equine movement to support the body’s innate capacity for balance, regulation, and coordination. The horse’s motion provides sensory input that encourages postural alignment, nervous system organization, and whole-body connection fostering physical, emotional, and functional well-being.
